We will pick you up at your hotel in Palomino to begin a journey that will take us to the tropical forest of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Let the adventure begin!
After a one-hour drive, we will arrive at the town of Quebrada del Sol. There, we will have a typical breakfast and we will be greeted by a local guide who will tell us the history and customs of the community we are about to visit.
Next, we will take a walk to the Kogui village of Mulkwakungui. After an hour's walk, we will arrive at the village and learn about the traditions of the Kogui. In addition, you will have the opportunity to greet the Mamo. Did you know that he is the highest authority in the village? After these activities and after taking a walk, we will visit the Sewiaka community and you will be able to experience first-hand all the history that has made up this community and how it is formed today.
We will have lunch consisting of soup, a main dish, juice and fruit. Delicious! With our energy restored, we will head to the Don Diego River, where you will enjoy an hour of free time to take a refreshing swim.
