Then we will head to the Bronx and continue the tour through the different neighborhoods of New York.
EXCURSION ITINERARY:
- Pick up at the hotel We take Park Avenue heading North to make our first stop at Mayor's house Gracie Mansion, we continue along Park Avenue until we enter Harlem.
- Apolo Theater From 96th Street and once there we will take 115th Street to the Apolo Theater where we will make our next stop to appreciate African-American art.
- Sugar Hill We continue towards the Sugar Hill neighborhood where the City College of New York is located and the Hamilton Grange house where you can take photographs of its architecture.
- Baptist Church where we will enjoy a magnificent religious event, that of the Gospel choirs, religious music that has been the heritage and custom of the African-American race. We must be very respectful of the cameras and video cameras, since they do not take it very well that it becomes a tourist attraction, but rather to get to know their culture and ways of worshipping their faith in depth.
- Beginning of Contrasts We will continue our tour towards the Bronx district to make our next stop at Yankee Stadium, one of the New York City Baseball teams.
- Apache District We will continue our journey towards Grand Concord Avenue and the most famous police station in this county, precinct 42, known as the Apache District, due to the filming of the movie with Paul Newman (Fort Apache) and then head towards the South Bronx.
- Bronx Graffiti Where the most famous graffiti are found, each with its own different stories, making stops at some of them to take different photographs.
- Flushing Meadows in Queens Queens is the largest and most multicultural borough in New York City. We will enter Malba, a private, upper-middle class neighborhood and one of the most expensive outside of Manhattan. We will continue toward Flushing Meadows Park, which is to Queens what Central Park is to Manhattan. There we will see the Mets stadium, the Yankees' rival team, the National Tennis Complex where the US Open is held, better known as the US OPEN, and the globe from the movie Men In Black. We will leave Flushing to pass through one of the main avenues in Queens (Roosevelt), where we will see the culture of immigration represented in each of the retail stores located along the avenue. We will pass through Little India, where the largest Hindu concentration in New York City is located, and then continue our journey toward the Brooklyn district.
-
Brooklyn We enter the county of Brooklyn where we tour the Jewish neighborhood of Williamsburg, a neighborhood where the largest concentration of Ultra-Orthodox Hasidic Jews is found. At the end of this visit we head towards the Manhattan Bridge where we offer two options:
